Cardio Tennis is a tennis workout program catering to all fitness levels.
Bringing together a variety of cardio workouts, a range of fun tennis drills, all to a high-energy soundtrack. You don’t have to be Rafael Nadal or Sam Stosur to enjoy the energising workout t! Constant movement is the focus as our Tennis Australia qualified coaches guide you through a series of fun and heart-pumping drills that cater for all abilities and fitness levels.
Cardio Tennis is enjoyed best with friends – male or female. If you like exercising in a group, then you will find Cardio Tennis the perfect motivator. Do I need to be good at tennis to play?
No. The best thing about Cardio Tennis is that you do not have to be good at tennis to get involved. In fact, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before. Our coaches are trained to mix up the activities to cater for all skill and fitness levels, so while it’s a great for beginners, more experienced tennis players will also have a great time.
How long does a Cardio Tennis session last?
Our Cardio Tennis sessions are 60 minutes and usually comprise of:
Participants wear heart rate monitors or pedometers, exercise to music, use low-compression balls and a variety of equipment, including agility ladders. And, at the end of your session, you can check your stats on the heart-rate monitor to find out just how hard you worked
How do I Book?
Just like our Group Fitness sessions, you can turn up weekly and pay/collect your ticket up to 90 minutes prior to the class starting. Receive a 10% discount when you sign up for the term in advance PLUS a guaranteed place each week!
How much does a session cost?

Note: Under 17years must be a youth member or have a youth card
What equipment do I need to bring?
- A tennis racquet (provided to participants if required)
- Your favourite workout gear
- Trainers (or acceptable footwear – non-marking flat soled shoes preferred).
- Water bottle or sports drink
Wet Weather Plan
In the event of inclement weather, the Cardio Tennis session may be cancelled for safety reasons. Every effort will be made to provide alternate arrangements, (if another space is available or another time is suitable). If a pre-paid session is cancelled due to inclement weather access to another session will be organised by the Head Coach
