More about BIKELINX:

The BikeLinx program in conjunction with Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre works closely with Your Community Health to assist in the running of the Men’s Shed and the repair and gifting of bikes.

This joint initiative between Sport and Recreation Victoria, YMCA Victoria and Your Community Health is helping men get together in a social environment and repair, rejuvenate and recycle bicycles to be gifted to the community for those in need.

This is a free project for all those who wish to have the ability to train and become part of the Bikelinx Team or just donate a bike.

The Bike Linx Project runs with assistance from our Open Doors Fund, please talk to the YMCA Open Doors representative.

The Bike Linx Project provides men with social interaction, a sense of purpose and some physical exercise and activities. With the involvement of Your Community Health, the project promotes health and wellbeing, and an active lifestyle.

To learn more about this project contact the Northcote Aquatic & Recreation Centre on (03) 9486 7200.
