​An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the biggest Casey Gymnastics clubs in Victoria with various roles available.  With established sites at Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre and Berwick Leisure Centre, Casey Gymnastics is set to grow with the introduction of a new state-of-the-art site at Casey Stadium in Cranbourne.

We are looking for coaches for our Preschool, Recreational, Competitive and Inclusions Programs across our 3 venues.

Short Description

Gymnastics Coaches are an essential component in the delivery of the Casey Gymnastics programs and services. These positions require energetic and motivated people who work well in a team of coaches with a common goal to deliver a progressive and inclusive program.

Various positions, including Preschool, Recreational, Competitive and Teacher in Charge (Supervisor) are required as our program expands with the addition of our third venue set to open this year.

Coaches are required to deliver pre-planned lesson content to develop participants' abilities and assess their skills. Positions available at all locations and various days – programs operate 7 days.

We are offering flexibility within these roles as the successful candidate can be set up as either casual or part-time, depending on the availability and suitability.

While qualified and registered coaches are preferable, if you have an interest in becoming a coach, contact us in regards to the Coach Development Volunteer Coaching Program, we can get you on hands on, educational experience while you learn the basics.

About the Centre

​Casey Gymnastics currently offers programming to 2000 gymnasts across two venues in the City of Casey. Preschool and Recreational classes through our educational pathway, Competitive classes within Gymstar, WAG and MAG, and also Trampolining, Teen Gymnastics, Adult Gymnastics and Access All Abilities inclusive programming.

As we continue to grow and open the doors to our new purpose built facility in Cranbourne, the need for additional coaches is required to cater to demand and enable us to facilitate all programs.

Qualifications

  • Gymnastics coaching qualification
  • Current technical membership with Gymnastics Australia
  • Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • ACF Safeguarding Children and Young People course completion
  • All successful candidates will be subject to a National Criminal History Check. ​
